I've attached the link on the last line of this article, so you may read their website! I'll focus on my personal experience. Hana on Maui is paradise personified! I had the privilege to go there as a teenager with my sister, my dad an my step mom -- and it was an unforgettable experience. The people were friendly, but protective of their village -- we stayed up the hill. The beaches were unbelievable -- both pristine and rugged. The food I'll never forget and I'm not a foodie! The fresh pineapple was so plentiful it cleansed us of every impurity. It cleared up my teenage skin for one ~ we were new people! We went horseback riding over some rather rugged terrain. My sister and I loved it, my dad was a bit rusty and was sore a few days. All in all it was one of the most delightful experiences of my life and certainly a vacation I will never forget!

I would love to visit Perth, Australia and see my favorite Band perform LIVE, Damien Cripps sometime real soon! I also have investigated and found that Perth in Western Australia is a lovely place to visit, and not just for the fabulous music! It is advertised as somewhere to experience the Old Australia: friendly people, sandy beaches and beautiful blue water. Sounds great to me, this is becoming a theme on Libby Talks Travel! This picture is of Rottnest Island, just a short ferry ride from Perth looks well worth the trip! It is known for its very relaxed atmosphere, that's what I look for on my vacation. That and plenty of water, beach and sun...thank goodness for sunscreen and okay, I'm older, sunhats! For nightlife, I'm heading to one of the nightclubs or outdoor venues where Damien Cripps Band is playing. If you're just daydreaming today about Australia, and plan to go there someday -- I will let you know that the Damien Cripps Band is planning a U.S. tour in 2010! You can be sure information on the cities and their atmosphere will be on the Libby Talks Travel blog! Along with inexpensive fares to get you there on my connected Libby Talks Travel site. I'm adding a video bar from YouTube from Western Australia and the Damien Cripps band so you can enjoy some tunes while you read the rest of the blog! ENJOY everyone! Love and Peace ~ Libby

Madeline Island is small, filled with charm and stunning blue-sky, clean, sandy beached beauty! It offers some of the best fishing and sailing around. There's also tennis, golf, canoeing or even kayaking. The birds and wildlife remind you you're not at home and there are two very nice campgrounds as well as luxury hotel accommodations. I played golf with my dad and my sister the last time I was there -- and the day was so breathtakingly beautiful -- the sky to brilliantly blue, I'll never recover! I even managed to enjoy the golf, even though I do not excel at it!
It's a relaxing, do nothing, do anything you'd like kind of place with great summer Midwestern weather, laid back people to care for you're every need, cute shops, in the historic downtown area. Dining from the casual (don't forget a picnic!) to the gourmet) To find out more follow this link: http://www.madelineisland.com/index.shtml
The purpose of this blog will be to visit virtually speaking all the places of the world I'd really like to visit one day. I will feature a different travel spot in each post, an exotic corner of the world, from Cancun pictured in the header to the Bahamas I am writing about in this section. Please give me suggestions if there is a particular place you would like to see discussed. We can all live vicariously through the sights and sounds. some of us may decide to make their visit real. And we're prepared for that! For your convenience, this blog is linked to Libby Talks Travel -- my travel site -- and you can book a trip through it to anywhere that tickles your fancy. I will keep this blog updated, unless I decide to follow my own advice and to hit the open road or water!
Speaking of water, Grand Bahama Island lies just 50 miles east of Florida and is a lovely place to visit for it's weather, friendly people and beautiful beaches. As a visitor you are at the center of island life. You will be welcomed and entertained with genuine warmth and hospitality. Grand Bahama Island’s hotels and casinos are of a caliber that has earned them the title of “New World Riviera.” There is an International Bazaar with a collection of beautiful boutiques. I was born to shop!
Grand Bahama Island is a wonder! It is known for its beautiful nature preserves and hiking trails. Highlights while you're not shopping would be: pristine beaches, lovely villages and all that goes in to making a true tropical paradise.
